Meet Bill – also known as TM Bill

He’s been driving for:

40 years

Favourite Rig:

The Hino 300, it’s a well-rounded unit for small to medium sized recoveries.

His most challenging tow so far:

A car wedge tightly on a subterranean pathway between a building and a retaining wall. The roof of the vehicle was level with the top of the retaining wall with minimal access to the front or rear of the vehicle. The driver and the passenger had to climb through the sunroof. The job involved building a lifting frame around and underneath the vehicle to minimise further damage before lifting it out with a crane.

When he’s not on the job:

Bill likes to race his motorcycles and travel, combining the two is even better!

Did you know?:

He is a 15 time NZ Vintage MX Champion?
